World figure skating star Kim Yu-na will perform an ice show in front of domestic fans in May.

Kim’s agency All That Sports (AT Sports) announced Thursday the world No. 1 skater will perform the ice show “KCC Switzen All That Skate Spring” from May 6 for a three day-run at Jamsil Gymnasium in Seoul Sports Complex.

It is the first time in seven months for Kim to perform in Korea.

In the ice show the fans can watch her new short program to a theme from the classic ballet "Giselle."

She has been preparing new programs for the World Championships to be held on March 26 and 27.

Since earning the gold medal at the Winter Games in Vancouver in February 2010, Kim has only skated at last year’s World Championships and three ice shows – two in Korea and one in Los Angeles.

The 20-year-old hasn’t performed at all this season. After finishing the last ice show in October in Los Angeles, she split with Canadian coach Brian Orser and has prepared for the World Championships with new coach Peter Oppegard.
